Campus Ministers and Chaplains

Gary and Gena Hellman bring over 35 years of min-istry experience to Faculty Commons. After Gary earned a Masters of Divinity at Talbot Seminary in LaMirada, California in 1986, they moved to Still-water, Oklahoma. At that time they helped to start the faculty ministry at Oklahoma State University. Over the years the group has grown to involve over 200 faculty and staff. Gary and Gena are also the Regional Representatives for the university campuses in Oklahoma and Arkansas. As a team they have also organized and resourced faculty/staff networks at the University of Oklahoma, the University of Central Oklahoma, the University of Tulsa, and the University of Arkansas. They have three sons and reside in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
